Jail Break is a music and arts festival that takes place at the Old City Jail in Harleston Village. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it, but we could hear the live music up the street all night and it sounded like a ton of fun.
The festival includes food trucks from Autobanh, Hello My Name is BBQ, Diggity Donuts, and King of Pops. The live music was from 9:30-11:00 and featured the following artists:
The coolest part, in my opinion, is that there are various performing arts included such as stand-up comedy, dance, and hoop performances. There were also featured exhibits inside of the jailhouse along with drawings, paintings, sculptures, photographs, and various other types of artwork strung from stone to stone. I’ll definitely be taking advantage next year!
