I attended the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Marion Square this weekend. It was a lot of fun, and a very family-oriented event. The holiday ceremony was held from 4:30-6:00 and before the tree lighting there were all types of Christmas skits, including an excerpt from Peter and the Wolf. Although seeing the animals was fun, the giraffe was terrified and almost broke loose from its trainers. Read all about the fiasco here.
