The time is finally upon us! I love Charleston Restaurant Week. If you have never experienced this event, it’s a must. The next one is scheduled next week from January 10-20, hosted by the Greater Charleston Restaurant Association. It’s an excellent chance to enjoy the world-renowned cuisine of the Lowcountry with fixed menus consisting of three items for one price ($20, $30 or $40). This event applies to all participating restaurants, which is the majority of restaurants downtown, along with numerous others outside of the peninsula.
This is especially a great idea for some of the high-end restaurants such as Cypress, Peninsula Grill, and Oak Steakhouse, to name a few. Normally you will spend $100+ on a meal at these types of places, but Restaurant Week gives you the opportunity to have a three course meal for $30-$40. And the food is always fantastic.
